Music. What it brings to the table!

I grew up with the influence of 2 people who loved music. Needless to say that it rubbed off on me. I am all about having music playing at all times. If I don't have something playing I get bored, restless and it is very hard to concentrate.

It is also what inspires me while I work on design projects and really anything that I work on. My go to music while I am working on design are some DJ mixes my friend Mike Lisby a.k.a. DJ Mic_L. He broadcasts lives online and helps people get through their workdays through his craft.

My best work has come from listening to music and letting my mind just wander away. The beat feeds my creativity, gets the juices flowing and gets the heart pumpin.

Another way I use music in my every day life is communicating with people. I have my itunes streaming the info to what song I am listening to my friends. From time to time I use that as a way to send messages to that special someone.

What kind of music moves you? Leave a Comment and let me know.

See ya next time.

How do you prefer to exit a party/gathering?

How do you exit a party/gathering? I have always wondered how others feel about this subject. Lets take a look at the different types and then Ill get into what I do.

1. The Phantom

2. The Lingering Farewell

3. The Fading Wave

I am sure there are plenty more but at this very moment those are the 3 that stick out in my head. Ok, so the first one is self explanatory. The Phantom is a well known way to exit a party. Just vanish out of that place like casper getting chased by the ghostbusters. The second one takes anywhere from 15-20 mins. It takes that much time because there is a mini conversation with each person as you are leaving. Whether it is a person telling you that you shouldnt go because it is still early yet or someone that hadnt gotten around to telling you how their day/week was because it just CANT wait for the next day. I am sure you can tell that this is my least favorite way to leave a party. I have to say the one i use the most or try to use the most is the  fading wave. Just a descrete wave and say see ya next time and leave. Any thoughts or additions to different types of exiting feel free to comment and share. Or just tell me what you prefer to do and why.

See ya next time
